Fat cells have a lower freezing temperature than our skin, which means we can safely target fat without damaging surrounding tissue and skin. Once the fat cells are frozen, they die and the body flushes them out naturally over the following few weeks.
Most patients begin to see results from about 3 weeks post-treatment, which peaks roughly 6-7 weeks after treatment. For many, this one session is enough, however some patients choose to have a few more treatments on the same area. This depends on the goals you are hoping to achieve and the location of the fat you are targeting.
