Facial Wrinkles

Fine lines and wrinkles across the forehead and around the eyes and mouth occur when our bodies produce less of the natural proteins collagen and elastin. These proteins are found in the skin’s connective tissue and they work to keep the skin plump and elastic, allowing the skin to move and bounce back whenever you smile, frown and make other facial expressions. When these break down the skins fiber becomes weaker with age, the skin doesn’t bounce back and lines and wrinkles start to appear. They normally appear as people get older, but they can also develop if you spend too much time in the sun.
