Wide Jawline

An overly square jawline in females can be seen as masculine and unattractive trait. This condition is caused by muscle, bone or a mixture of the two.

What causes Wide Jawline ?

Wide jawlines are caused by a combination of things but are mostly simply down to genetics. Other factors that can cause it include ‘Acromegaly’ which is a hormonal disorder that develops during adulthood, causing your bones to increase in size. Also, the prominence of the masseter can play a part in causing a wide jaw, which is the muscle we use to chew our food. For example, if you chew gum a lot, or suffer from Bruxism – this could be the cause for your wide jawline.

Do you suffer from the following?

Overgrown masseter
Square jaw
Fatty volume in cheek or neck area
Teeth grinding
Feeling less feminine
