The powerful Q-Switch NdYAG laser has multiple wavelengths so it can treat tattoos which are black, blue, green, red, orange, yellow and everything between. The laser penetrates deep into the skin and targets the ink which then begins to breakdown into shattered ink particles. Your body is then able to flush out the ink particles which causes the tattoo to gradually fade after each session without causing any scarring.
A series of short, sharp flashes of light will be concentrated into the skin through the Alma Harmony Laser device. As the light goes into the skin, the tattoo ink absorbs the laser and breaks down. This broken down ink is naturally removed from the body over time until it’s completely gone.
As we are breaking down the tattoo ink from the inside out, there is some discomfort. However, we are able to apply a topical numbing cream if necessary. This can help alleviate some of the discomforts and by the time your tattoo is fully removed, you’ll forget all about these sessions!
